Depressed young black men sitting in bed hiding head in hands, having headache

The Gambia’s Ministry of Health has issued a warning to men regarding the use of drugs for sexual performance enhancement.

“It is concerning that some men are turning to male enhancement products as quick fixes for sexual performance.

“However, these products can lead to serious health risks, including dependency, addiction, liver and kidney damage, infertility, and erectile dysfunction.

“We advise against the use of these unregulated supplements, which can have dangerous side effects. Instead, focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through a balanced diet, regular exercise, and mental well-being for long-term benefits,” the ministry said.
