The Gambia is one of several countries affected by new tariff introduced by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Trump’s new tariff, named the “Liberation Day Tariff,” imposes a 10% duty on import goods from The Gambia to the United States.

This follows Trump’s 60-day ultimatum travel ban on the West African nation unless certain security and vetting requirements are met.

The Gambia government has not yet responded to the new tariff.
