The Gambia has finally lifted its remaining Covid travel restrictions.

Travellers to the country are no longer required to present proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative Covid test to enter.

The travel restrictions were lifted last Tuesday (13 December).

The Gambia is one of the slowest countries to reopen its borders to foreign visitors following the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, the compulsory Airport Development and Security fee  for entry still remains in place.

The fee is 20 dollars, or equivalent in euros, sterling or local currency.
