The Gambia senior national team has reportedly boycotted training in Mauritius ahead of Tuesday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Seychelles.
According to journalist Foday Manneh, the players are protesting over unpaid allowances from three consecutive camps and have raised concerns about poor logistical arrangements, including a broken-down team bus in Kenya that led to a 24-hour journey before arrival.
The squad is allegedly threatening to boycott the match if their demands are not met.
