Gambia have suffered their second defeat in the African Cup of Nations losing 1-0 to Guinea.

Aguibou Camara’s 69 minutes goal helped sealed a victory for the Sily National after several missed attempts.

The Scorpions held their opponents tightly throughout the game but failed to find the back of the net.

The two sides went into the break stalemate with Guinea leading on ball possessions but The Gambia showcased an exceptional performance.

Wonderkid Yankuba Minteh’s equaliser was ruled offside in the 80 minutes as he pressurised the Guinean defence.

The Gambia now sit on the bottom of Group C and will take on Cameroon in their final match.
