The Gambia U-20 have arrived in Buenos Aries, Argentina ahead of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The Young Scorpions open their campaign next Monday (22 May) against Honduras in Group F. Them they will face France and South Korea for a place in the second round. 

Coach Abdoulie Bojang will put his team, which had a stellar tournament at the recent AFCON U-20 in Egypt, through their paces today in their first training session. 

The Young Scorpions made their debut in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2007 but were eliminated in the second round after losing to Austria 2-1.
