Gambian defender Abdoulie Tamba has secured a four-year contract with Swedish Allsvenskan outfit IFK Norrköping following a successful trial.
Tamba, who has represented The Gambia at U-20 level and was part of the Scorpions’ squad for the last CHAN qualifiers, is now set to begin a new chapter in Europe.

Fortune FC President Assan S. Ndure described the transfer as a proud milestone for both the player and the club.
“Abdoulie’s transfer to IFK Norrköping is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent nurtured at Fortune FC. We are immensely proud of his growth and this opportunity to showcase Gambian football on a global stage. This is not just a victory for Abdoulie, but for our club and every young player dreaming big,” Ndure said.

Abdoulie Tamba’s switch adds to the growing list of young Gambian players making their mark in European football, underlining the country’s rising reputation in producing top talent.
