Gambian up-and-coming dancehall artist, Kemo Badjie, who goes by stage name Spanky Iba will release his ‘zero hundred’ EP album on 1 December at Brikama Jokor.

The Kembujeh-based artist began his musical journey back in 2015 after he was inspired by dozens of local and international artists.

He believed that he can add some positivity into the country’s music scene with his educative lyrics.

“He is an artist with a broad mind and a unique style. Most of his inspiration comes from his neighbourhood and environment. Spanky Iba is here to make his marks as far as music is concern,” his management said, adding that “he believes that he got something that can be added to spice up the Gambian music.”

Fans have been urged to come out in in their numbers to support and enjoy the musical lyrics of Spanky Iba as he is set to launch his first EP album.

“As music nowadays is very expensive because of the quality it required from studio sessions to video clips. Spanky is working with a dynamic label called G1GO music production who are ready to take Spanky’s music to the next level. It’s time to support it, time to cherish and it’s time to celebrate our own artist Spanky Iba who is among the finest dancehall artists,” his management added.

Meanwhile, he is expected to release the album on 20 of November on social media platforms including YouTube while he will be supported by DJ Benz during the launch of his album.
