At least 50 Gambian deportees will arrive into the country today from Germany, Gambiana has been told.

This comes amid protests in Germany against deportation of Gambian migrants.

More than 100 Gambians living in Europe especially in Germany have been deported since 2017.

A group of Gambian migrants activists have been pushing The Gambia government to intervene and put a stop to the mass deportation. 

“[About] 50 Gambian youths will be deported from Germany tomorrow (today) to Banjul international Airport,” a source who wants to remain unnamed told Gambiana.
