Fatou Ngum will officiate today’s match between host nation Cape Verde and Mauritania in the ongoing WAFU Zone A Women’s football championship in Sal.

Ms Ngum is one of the best Gambian female referees. 

According to The Gambia Football Federation, the young FIFA Referee will be joined by her Gambian compatriot, Jainaba Manneh.

“She will be playing in her second game as a central referee. She also appeared twice as a fourth official so far. Meanwhile, Jainaba is paired with her compatriot for a second game running,” the nation’s football body said.
