A team of Gambian health officials has returned home after a four-day official visit to Senegal. 

The delegation was in Dakar to understudy the Senegalese response to COVID-19 and the effective use of the Incident Management System.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has announced that there were “No new COVID-19 related death recorded. The only posthumous sample collected returned negative for COVID-19. 

“No new COVID-19 case recorded 86 new laboratory test results received from NPHL. No new test returned indeterminant / inconclusive. No COVID-19 patients recovered and got discharged.”

“The country currently has 0 person in quarantine, 882 active cases and a crude case-fatality ratio of 3.2%,” it added.
