Hundreds of Gambian journalists have condemned the arrest of a fellow journalist by police on Friday.

Kebba Secka, reporter with Foroyaa newspaper, was reported to have been handcuffed and detained at Njau police station.

The newspaper – Foroyaa also condemned the arrest.

Mr Secka is still believe to have been detained at the said police station.

Police spokesman couldn’t be reach for comment.
