The Global Scholarship recipient: Fatou Mbenga, a law student at the University of The Gambia

Fatou Mbenga, a third year law student at the University of the Gambia, has been selected as a Fellow for the DLA Piper Global Scholarships Programme.

The Global Scholarships Programme is an initiative that supports outstanding law students, known as Fellows, from less developed countries around the world and helps them define and achieve their own professional goals.

During the two-year programme Fellows receive: financial support towards their tuition fees, mentoring, local and international internships as well as leadership training. The Fellows have to visit Kenya for a week to undergo a Fellow’s Foundation Development course.
