A Gambian man, who lost lost his possessions in a house fire, has hailed the timely assistance of a Spanish philanthropist.
Pap Saho’s house was burnt down on Thursday leaving him and his family barely with nothing. They lost foodstuff, clothing and some cash.
Meanwhile, following a publication by Gambiana about the inferno, a Spanish philanthropist reached out to support the victim through this medium.
After handing over of the donated materials, Pap Saho hailed the donor for his generous support to him and his family during a hardship moment for them, while commended Gambiana for telling their story to the world.
“We are so happy and grateful for this support. It was a big relief for me and my family, and it will go a long way for us. The donated materials included uniforms school bags and shoes and books for my children,”he told Gambiana.
