Gambian international Sulayman Marreh has arrived in Israel to join Hapoel Haifa football club.
The Gambian midfielder is set to undergo his medical examination as he set to sign a deal with the club.
“Midfielder Sulayman Marreh landed tonight in Israel and will undergo medical tests during the day,” the club said in a statement.
He earned praises after he turned down a Scorpions national team call up against Congo Brazzaville that saw the Gambia qualified for the African Cup of Nations for the second time in a row.
Marreh cited his lack of match fitness for turning down the offer to play for the national side against Congo in Morocco.
