Italy-based Gambian MMA fighter Kevin Kunta has added another title win to his record after beating Amer Jahic in a tense fight in Slovenia.

Abdou Sowe who goes by his sporting name Kevin Kunta was among dozens of Gambians who reached Europe through the perilous backway years ago. After arriving in Italy, he switched to mixed martial arts from wrestling.

The electrifying event showcased Kunta’s prowess in the mixed martial arts arena, solidifying his position as a rising star in the global fighting community.

The bout now promised to be a true test of Kunta’s abilities and his capacity to take on seasoned opponents.

Gambians have welcomed his victory against the experienced Amer Jahic.
