Fye Network has launched FyeN Studios, its new creative production arm dedicated to telling timeless African stories through animation, television, and film.

Rooted in Africa’s rich storytelling traditions, including songs, dances, and oral histories passed down through generations, FyeN Studios aims to reimagine these narratives for modern audiences.

Its mission is to inspire, educate, and entertain viewers across The Gambia, Africa, and beyond.

Co-founded by sisters YaAdam and YaMwaza, FyeN Studios is the first animation and film studio of its kind in The Gambia.

The studio is already developing several projects that celebrate African culture, creativity, and resilience.

“By sharing stories that portray children with care, dignity, and truth, we empower the next generation to see themselves in media and to imagine a more just, inclusive, and inspiring future,” the founders said.

FyeN Studios promises to put Gambian and African storytelling on the global map, offering audiences a fresh, authentic perspective that bridges tradition and modern creativity.
