Lance Corporal Alieu Jallow has been dismissed from the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) after being found guilty of involvement in the mass killing of vultures.

GAF said the dismissal followed a thorough investigation into the incident, which occurred last month. Jallow has since been handed over to police for full enforcement of the law.

In a statement, Acting GAF PRO Captain Kemo Kanuteh said the armed forces remain committed to working with government institutions, environmental agencies, and the public to protect wildlife and natural resources across the country.
