A Gambian soldier cadet officer Ebrima Gaye has been commended for an outstanding performance and dedication at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

According to Gambia Armed Forces, during the review process of Officer Cadet Ebrima Gaye was commended by officials of RMA for his “impressive dedication to duty, attention to details and military ethics.”

“Training officers at Sandhurst rated him high and viewed him as a brilliant example of Gambian pride. 

“He is described as an excellent young officer who is projecting a good image among the international military fraternity at Sandhurst. We are proud of his achievements so far.

“They noted that the Officer Cadet is performing at high standards. Cadet Gaye is exchanging Cultural inclusions by preparing Gambian dish and participating in sports. 

“He recently emerged as the winner of the lively boxing bout organized by the academy,” The Gambia Armed Forces said.

Meanwhile, the Gambian Counsellor in UK Suntou Touray on Thursday 31 March attended the defence familiarisation occasion at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, to have first-hand information on the progress of Gambian Cadet Officer Ebrima Gaye. 

The renowned military academy in Samdhurst UK is one of the top military academies in the world.
