Gambiana founder and award-winning journalist Momodou Musa Touray has joined the judging panel for the inaugural Investing Insiders Financial Book Awards 2025.

Touray joins panel chair Moira O’Neil, investment and money writer at the Financial Times; Gabriel Nussbaum, TEDx speaker and founder of The Creator Space; Vix Leyton, comedian and podcaster; Tony Ross, chartered financial planner; Edmund Greaves, journalist and editor; Tola Onanuga, freelance journalist; and Holly Mead, former deputy money editor at The Times.

The awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the best financial books that help people make better money decisions.

Antonia Medlicott, founder and managing director at Investing Insiders, said: “We are so excited to finally introduce our wonderful judges who will be making all the tough decisions for our brand new Finance Book Awards.”

Touray said he is honoured to join such a strong panel. “I cannot wait to explore books that empower readers to make smarter money decisions,” he said.

The Investing Insiders Financial Book Awards are a new set of first-of-their-kind awards launched by UK personal finance website Investing Insiders in autumn 2025.

The awards span several categories for books published in English for a UK audience between 1 January 2023 and 30 September 2025. Categories include:

• Best for Personal Finance
• Best for Budgeting
• Best for Investing
• Best for Pensions and Retirement
• Best for Children’s Finances
• Best for Small Businesses

The shortlist was announced on 9 November. The winners will be revealed on 10 December 2025 at a ceremony in London.
