“We hope the government focuses on improving health, education, and agriculture for the benefit of all citizens.”

Ndey Fatou Gaye, from Kololi, said: “I look forward to a prosperous 2025, with peace, success, and long life for all.”

Chebo, a resident of Sanchaba, shared his joy: “It’s a moment of happiness, as long as we are healthy and living in peace.”

Sahra Joof also expressed her gratitude, saying: “It’s a blessing to witness this year’s New Year. I’m here to celebrate with renewed hope for the future.”

Over in Westfield, the celebrations reached a fever pitch as a musical stage was set up, attracting a massive crowd. Local artists delivered electrifying performances, lighting up the night and creating a festive atmosphere.
