
Gambia’s Isey Isatou, commonly known as ‘Cheetah’, made headlines at the CAA Senior Athletics Championship in Ghana after storming to two bronze medals in the women’s sprint events.
The Gambian sprinter impressed in the 100m, clocking 11.91 seconds (-0.5) to secure a podium finish.

She followed up that performance in the 200m, where she crossed the line in 24.25 seconds to claim another bronze medal.
For Isey, these medals are a breakthrough on the continental stage, cementing her status as one of Gambia’s most promising track stars.

Her speed, determination, and rising consistency signal a bright future ahead, as she looks to build on this success and compete at even higher levels.
