Gambia Democratic Congress national chairman has defected to President Adama Barrow’s National People’s Party.

Dr Demba Sabally defection comes barely two days after President Barrow warned opposition against underestimating his party ahead of 2021 presidential election.

Dr Sabally, who is believe to have joined President Barrow on his 30 days nation tour, confirmed his defection.

“Yes I did,” he said.
