Gambia Democratic Congress has dismissed report that its leader Mama Kandeh has met president-elect Adama Barrow and finally conceded defeat as “misinformation”.

Kandeh has vowed not to concede defeat claiming without evidence that the December 4 election was not “free and fair”.

A video of Kandeh and Barrow has been circulating on social media recently which GDC national youth president Momodou MC Cham Jnr has dismissed and said that was a video of the duo in 2017.

“That the video below is in 2017 when Kandeh visited President Barrow to offer help about the frequent interruption of electricity outage,” he told Gambiana.

“Those circulating the video and portraying it that Kandeh visited Barrow recently are peddling misinformation and disinformation,” he added.
