The 2025/26 Gambia Football Federation First Division season reaches its final chapter today with all eyes firmly on the title race and the battle for survival.

Only Medina United FC and Fortune FC remain in the race for the championship, with just one point separating the top two sides heading into a dramatic final day.

GPA FC vs Medina United FC @ SK East

League leaders Medina United sit on 51 points and know exactly what is required. A victory over GPA FC will crown them champions regardless of any other result.

A draw would also be enough for Medina if Fortune fails to beat Steve Biko. However, defeat could hand the title to Fortune should they claim all three points.

GPA, currently third with 47 points, can no longer win the league but will be aiming to finish their season strongly and potentially secure a top-three finish.

Fortune FC vs Steve Biko FC @ Brikama

Fortune FC enter the final day with 50 points and has only one mission: win and hope Medina drops points.

But Steve Biko is fighting for their lives at the bottom end of the table and every point matters in their survival battle, making this one of the biggest matches of the day.

BST Galaxy FC vs Bombada FC @ OSFF

Bombada’s title hopes ended in the previous round, but they still have an opportunity to secure a strong finish. BST Galaxy will also be hoping to end their season positively in front of their supporters.

Hawks FC vs Samger FC @ Kabekel

This could decide survival. Samger moved up to 31 points after their previous result and still has a chance to avoid relegation. Hawks are only one point ahead and cannot afford mistakes.

Team Rhino FC vs TMT FC @ Nyamina

Bottom side TMT FC enter the final day on 30 points, knowing they may need victory and favourable results elsewhere to survive.

Real De Banjul vs Greater Tomorrow @ Basori

Greater Tomorrow remain in danger with 31 points, and a positive result could be vital in keeping them in the division.

Falcons FC vs Harts FC @ Bakau

Falcons and Harts will both be looking to end their campaigns on a winning note.

Gambian Dutch Lions FC vs Brikama United FC @ Dimphy’s

Both sides have little pressure and will be hoping to close the season with a positive result.
