The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has officially rebranded the national U-17 men’s football team as the Scorplings, replacing the long-standing name Baby Scorpions.

In a statement, the Federation said the change is part of a broader branding strategy designed to strengthen the team’s identity and align it more closely with the senior national team, the Scorpions.

The U-17 side has long been one of the country’s most successful youth teams, producing several players who have gone on to represent The Gambia at senior international level.
