A grey-bearded man has been arrested after allegedly fatally stabbing another man in Old Jeshwang.

Video footage circulating online shows the suspect, believed to be in his 70s, being escorted by locals with his hands tied behind his back and his shirt visibly stained with what appears to be blood.

It remains unclear where the suspect was taken, but eyewitnesses believe he was being handed over to the police.

In the video, bystanders can be heard shouting angrily, labelling him a “witch” and calling for justice.

“He is a killer,” one local shouted. “He should be exposed. He is a witch and a murderer.”

Gambiana has reached out to the police for comment but has yet to receive a response.
