Heads of Muslim countries have started arriving in Banjul for the Organisation of Islamic Corporation 15th summit.

Guinea Bissau President Umaru Cissoko Embalo and Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Laboui were the first leaders to arrive in Banjul. 

This was followed by the president of Djibouti Ismaïl Omar Guellé and the Turkish Foreign Minister Haka Fidan. 

They were  received by the Vice President of The Gambia Muhammad B Jallow. 

The two-day heads of states summit will start on Saturday and ends on Sunday with a communique. 

President Adama Barrow will chair the proceedings of the biggest international conference of Muslim leaders in the world.
