The presiding judge Amina Saho Ceesay has on Thursday adjourned again the case involving leaders of 3 Years Jotna to Tuesday after ruling that no formal bail application has been submitted by the defence counsels which prompted her to request for formal bail application.
And now the defence counsels agreed to filing their formal bail application on Monday which would be followed by debate on the case between the state prosecutors and defense counsels Tuesday.
Meanwhile, hearing on bail grant is expected on Friday noon as the judge ruled.
However, there was a sense of hope on the faces of the accused persons who smiled and waved three fingers as they entered the courtroom on Tuesday.
The eight of seven men and one woman sat on a bench in the courtroom laughing and exchanging pleasantries with sympathers before the ruling commenced.
The leaders of the anti-government group are facing a slew of charges including rioting, unlawful assembly and criminal damage after a protest calling for President Barrow to step down turned violent.
