Brothers Bilal Njie and Moussa Njie shared a special family moment with their father after Friday’s 2027 AFCON qualifier between The Gambia and Somalia at the Independence Stadium.

The brothers, who have a Gambian father and Somali mother, represented Somalia against The Gambia — their father’s homeland.

Their father watched proudly from the stands as his two sons took on the Scorpions. After Somalia’s 2–1 defeat, the family reunited on the pitch for a memorable photo, bringing together two generations and two countries on an emotional night in Bakau.
