Peter Anthony Morgan, the lead singer of popular Jamaican reggae band Morgan Heritage, has died aged 46.  

The family’s statement, shared via social media, expressed love and gratitude while informing of Morgan’s ascension on February 25th, 2024. 

They thanked well-wishers for their support and requested privacy as they navigate this difficult time, reports the Jamaican Observer. 

Morgan, who was born on 11 July 1977, led the Grammy award winning group which consisted of five children of reggae artist Denroy Morgan. 

The other members are Una Morgan, Roy ‘Gramps’ Morgan, Nakhamyah ‘Lukes’ Morgan and Memmalatel ‘Mr Mojo’ Morgan.
