The Kanifing Children’s Court and the Kanifing Industrial Tribunal will resume sittings on 25 August after being relocated to the Bundung Magistrates Court New Building.

The Judiciary of The Gambia suspended court sessions earlier this year following an evacuation order from the Central Bank, citing structural defects at the Futurelec Building.

Judicial Secretary Ebrima Jallow said the relocation was carried out “to ensure the safety of staff and court users,” and thanked the public for their patience.
