Kebba Toumanding Sanneh, the National Assembly member for Foni Jarrol, has vowed that no one will be spared in the parliamentary investigation into the sale of assets linked to former Gambian President Yahya Jammeh.
He affirmed that anyone implicated in the wrongful sale of these assets will be dragged to court for prosecution.
Speaking exclusively to Gambiana, he said: “I am more worried since this whole process started because I know the end is not going to be easy, and the end will justify everything. If you look at the report given by the Minister of Justice and the reports we are receiving, they differ.”

According to him, he has information that a large chunk of the Jammeh asset sales has not been publicly accounted for in the government list of buyers. However, he did not provide proof.
He added: “Someone from the US who said he drove some of these vehicles to the State House mentioned that the list they were given is incomplete. If it’s 100%, they’ve only given 5%, and 95% is left out. Based on the information I am receiving, a lot is not being mentioned.”
He accused the Justice Minister of being behind the confusion, stating: “What even makes me confused is that when we asked for the names of the buyers, the minister said he could not disclose them because of privacy orders.”

“But now he has given the names, and we do not even know whether they are real. There are no IDs or telephone numbers attached to them, so we cannot call them and confirm if they really exist. Because of the names given, no one knows who they are. What these people did was illegal. They were chasing people out of their homes,” he continued.
