Liverpool have made an improved offer to sign Gambian winger Yankuba Minteh from Brighton & Hove Albion, but the proposal has once again been rejected.

According to David Ornstein, Liverpool’s latest bid is worth £60 million, following their initial £50 million proposal which was also turned down by Brighton.

The Seagulls are understood to value the 22-year-old winger at closer to £70 million and are therefore unwilling to sanction his departure for the current offers.
