A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at the National Audit Office.

Modou Musa Jallow, also known as Jamaica, was detained during a police operation at the Serrekunda black market.

The break-in at Mile 7 resulted in the theft of several laptops valued at D351,000.00.

Investigators used CCTV footage to track down the suspects. Jallow reportedly confessed and admitted to stealing the items from the Audit Office.

Efforts are ongoing to identify and locate the individual who purchased the stolen goods. Jallow remains in custody while inquiries continue.
