A man who broke into the building of the country’s family planning complex and allegedly stole materials worth D107,900 has been charged with stealing.

Aiah Williams charged with two counts of offences including breaking into a building and theft. 

According to the particulars offence seen by Gambiana, the stolen materials by the accused included a printer valued at D25,000, 3 Wax clothes valued at D2,400, Mbasayn valued at D6,500, 2 CPU, keyboard, computer screen, and a mouse all valued at D58,000, 2 flash drives valued at D600, external drive valued at D400, a laptop valued at D15,000 and the total amount is one hundred and seven thousand nine hundred dalasis (D107,900).

The case has been adjourned to 23 May 2024.
