Gambian forward Modou Saidy has completed a loan move to BFC Daugavpils from RFS for the remainder of the season, the Latvian club has confirmed.

The move will see Saidy link up with fellow Gambian Wally Fofana at the Latvian Premier League side as they prepare for the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers adding a continental dimension to the attacking midfielder’s loan spell.

Saidy, known for his passing and shooting instincts, will be aiming to make an immediate impact as Daugavpils look to strengthen their squad ahead of the European campaign and the rest of the domestic season.
