Gambian sprinter Momodou Lamin Jabbi, alias Bullet, has described his 2026 season as a memorable one after recording personal bests in both the 100m and 200m.

In his first season competing in the senior category, Bullet clocked 10.47 seconds in the 100m and 21.33 seconds in the 200m, with both performances recorded at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor in Dakar.

His performances come after months of training, discipline and competition, supported by a network that helped him spend the season training and competing in Senegal from April to August.

A major contribution came from the Athlete Impact Fund, run by the Paragon Sport Development Foundation, which provided financial support for his travel and stay in Senegal.

Gambian supplement shop Mase Supplements also supported the sprinter with supplements to aid his recovery during the demanding season.

Meanwhile, Atletica Leggera Portici provided online coaching and daily technical guidance, helping Bullet improve his sprint mechanics, technique and overall performance.

With the 2026 season now over, Bullet is set to begin preparations for the 2027 season with bigger goals and ambitions.

His progress highlights what can be achieved when talent, hard work and the right support come together.
