Momodou Sabally, who defected to the ruling National People’s Party, has urged Gambian youths to join Barrow’s party in their thousands as he claimed that the Barrow government is on the verge of bringing a lot of development.

Speaking at Farato, Sabally claimed that due to the coming developments other nationalities will soon be coming to naturalise in the country.

“Come and join the party of development, NPP, and don’t wait to be call because if not youths of other countries will soon come to naturalise in this country,” he told the gathering.

He vowed to travel the length and breadth of the country to mobilise support for the ruling NPP.

Until recently, Sabally was the opposition United Democratic Party campaign manager and staunch critic of the Barrow government. 

He was detained several times for opposing the Barrow regime.
