A Nigerian pastor has warned President Barrow about his political strategy and urged him to review it if he wants to avoid being betrayed.
The controversial pastor Primate Elijah Ayodele made the statement in newly-released prophecies on Friday.
The head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church also issued similar warnings to the presidents of Zambia and Malawi.
The pastor urged President Barrow not to allow opposition parties to send him into political oblivion, according to local reports.
He said: “The president of Gambia must strategize so that his party can win the next presidential election, he must pick the right person who will sell what he has done, someone that will not disappoint or betray him.
“Some people will not appreciate all his efforts and he will want to make Gambia better than better.
“He must watch himself, pray not to be bereaved and the economy will be unstable.
“The country will be struggling; there are forces that will frustrate the president’s effort.
“The country must be careful of insecurity and natural disasters that will cause problems for the country.
“The opposition will come heavily against the current government and if care isn’t taken, if they are allowed, they will send the president’s political career into oblivion.”
