A controversial Gambian rapper One Pac has once again stirred up controversy in the local music industry by taking a jab at fellow rapper Attack Gaye.
One Pac claimed that Attack’s recent performance at Manjai Park was a failure and used the opportunity to defend Awa Gambia, whose shows have drawn significant attention and praise.
Speaking to Jollof Entertainment, One Pac did not hold back his criticism but said: “we should stop the hypocrisy and speak the truth. Why didn’t people talk about the failed show Attack staged at Manjai Park?” he questioned.
According to One Pac, Attack’s show lacked the audience turnout expected for an artist of his stature.
He compared it to Awa Gambia’s performances, emphasizing the stark contrast in attendance and energy.
“That was a failed show because he couldn’t even pull half the crowd that Awa Gambia’s back-to-back shows attracted. I know because I was there,” he remarked.
One Pac’s comments have sparked debate among fans and stakeholders in the music industry, with some supporting his claims and others calling for more unity among Gambian artists.
Attack, also a prominent rapper has not publicly responded to the allegations.
