The Gambia U-17 side is targeting victory against Liberia, with second assistant coach Pa Modou Jagne insisting the Scorpions are determined to deliver the result their fans want.
Representing head coach Yahya Manneh at the pre-match press conference, Nda said the team’s objective is clear.
“We always want to win. That is what every fan wants to see, and that is also why we are here.”
“Our objective is to win at the end of the 90 minutes. Football is a 90-minute game, so we will give our best and make sure we do everything possible to achieve what the fans want. We want to achieve it together with them.”
Meanwhile, U-17 goalkeeper trainer Modou Jobe spoke about his work with the team’s young goalkeepers, saying he focuses on identifying and correcting their mistakes during training.
“They are intelligent young goalkeepers, and with the right guidance and continuous work, they can keep improving.”
