The Ministry of Health has said 450 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last five days.

“A total of 450 new cases were registered (Cumulative cases 11,572). A total of 120, 76, 60, 98, and 98 cases were reported on the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th January respectively,” health officials said. 

Three people were said to have died of coronavirus related death bringing the total Covid deaths to 347. 

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health added that nine people who tested positive for coronavirus are currently placed on oxygen therapy.
