More than hundred people are reported to heve tested  coronavirus, according to the  Gambia’s Ministry of Health.

The ministry’s situational report also said three more people have died with the virus.

“One hundred and twelve coronavirus cases and three deaths,” the report said.

This happened amid mass political and musical gatherings.

On saturday Senegalese musician and Mbalax superstar, Vivian, performed at a gala dinner held at Pencha Mii hall in Kololi, and reports have it that another Senegalese superstar Wally Seck is in town to also perform to a sellout crowd.

Despite rise in coronavirus cases, no respect is given to social distancing protocols aimed at stopping the spread of the virus.
