Pa Nderry Mbai, one of Gambia’s most accomplished journalists, will be laid to rest on Wednesday.

The family of the late Pa Nderry Mbai, who died last night, said he will be buried in his adopted home of Raleigh, United States of America. 

In a statement the Mbai family said:

“The family came into consensus that the remains of Mr. Pa Nderry M’bai will be laid to rest in Raleigh NC, In shaa Allah.

“The burial attendees will be restricted due to observation of certain required protocols.

“The family, friends, loved ones and community will bid farewell, pay their last respect and pray for Mr. Pa Nderry M’bai, tomorrow, Wednesday, November 24th @ 5pm at Raleigh Islamic Institute (RII) & Community Center 3209 Gresham Lake Rd, Raleigh NC 27615.
