
The Gambia Police Force (GPF) has arrested 11 Nigerian nationals in connection with alleged online scamming activities during a raid conducted by the Police Intervention Unit (PIU) at Paradise Estate.
The operation, carried out following a tip-off, led to the recovery of several items believed to be linked to cybercrime, including:
19 laptops
14 unidentified smartphones
One printing machine
Two power banks
19 laptop chargers
28 Africell SIM cards
Three packets of suspected drugs
Various computer accessories (keyboards and mice)
Nigerian passports



Police confirmed that the suspects have been taken to the Serekunda Police Station for further investigation.
The GPF reiterated its commitment to tackling cybercrime and urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious online activities.
