Police are arresting stray animals off the roads at airport junction amid security operation on illegal encroachment.

The operation seeks to clear the roads off all illegal erected structures including buildings, shops and stalls.

According to the police, the operation will ensure stray animals are removed from the roads to ensure traffic safety.

The operation comes as government continue its road demarcation to widen the highways. 

“The cattle and other stray animals herein photos below are removed from roads: the OIC road – from Airport junction to Brusubi turntable. The operation will cover all roads. No stray animals on the roads,” police said.
