Police have opened an investigation into a stealing which was caught by CCTV in Tallinding, Kanifing Municipality. 

The suspect has been arrested after a thorough search conducted by police intelligence officers. 

According to the police, the suspect is helping the officers in their investigation. 

“In a recent theft case under police investigation within Kanifing Municipality, CCTV footage has proved invaluable. The footage not only helped identify the perpetrator but also provided crucial evidence to support the ongoing investigation.

“This development underscores the importance of installing smart CCTV systems in both private and public places, particularly within business premises, as an additional security measure,” police said.
