Police have launched an investigation after the body of a young man was discovered in Old Yundum earlier today.

The man, believed to be in his late twenties, was found hanging beneath the veranda of a residential building.

Crime scene investigators have cordoned off the area and are conducting a thorough examination.

Authorities say inquiries are ongoing, and further updates will be issued as more information becomes available.
