President Adama Barrow has appointed  

Bakary Y. Badjie as Minister of Youth and Sports with effect from Thursday, October 1.

He replaced Hadrammeh M. Sidibeh who was sacked from the post and redeployed 

to the Foreign Service.

Mr Sidibeh was fired alongside Lamin Jobe, Minister of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment on Wednesday. No reason was given for the sackings.
